Thanks for all the info guys, the German site with the sprocket conversion is really interesting and is worth considering. I am spoiled with the belt drive though. Gave my brother all my chain lube from my old bike and I'm not looking to start doing that kind of maintenance again. I went back and checked that chart you referred to in the owners manual and I have to admit that I forgot all about that. It's good info to have when you don't have a tach. I still am determined to acquire different pulleys though. I just like to play with my bikes and see what I can get out of them.
